Welcome to the Land of Teranga — Senegal!
Upon arrival at Blaise Diagne International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Dakar. Enjoy a relaxing evening settling in, with free time to rest or stroll along the seaside
corniche.

Dakar City Discovery
After breakfast, explore the cultural and political heart of Senegal. Visit Independence Square, the Presidential Palace, and drive along the stunning Western and Eastern Corniches. Wander through the colorful Sandaga and Kermel markets, and finish your day at the Pointe des Almadies, the westernmost point of Africa. Cap the evening with a traditional Senegalese welcome dinner featuring live music.

The Historic Gorée Island
Today, take a short ferry to Gorée Island, a UNESCO World Heritage site that once served as a major slave trading post. Visit the House of Slaves and the Museum of Black Civilizations, where Africa’s story is told through art and artifacts. Spend time wandering through the island’s peaceful streets lined with bougainvillea.

Wildlife Adventure at Bandia & Somone Lagoon
Head out for a safari experience at Bandia Reserve, home to giraffes, zebras, rhinos, and antelopes. Then continue to Lagoon of Somone, a tranquil coastal estuary ideal for a leisurely boat ride and seafood lunch.Return to Dakar for a relaxed evening.

Pink Lake & Desert Camp at Lompoul
Check out from your Dakar hotel and travel to Lac Rose (Pink Lake), famous for its shifting pink hues
caused by salt-loving microorganisms. Experience a short 4×4 drive along the dunes before continuing to Lompoul Desert.Enjoy camel rides, drumming under the stars, and dinner in traditional desert tents.

Touba’s Spiritual Grandeur & Transfer to Saly
After breakfast, depart for Touba, the spiritual capital of Senegal. Visit the impressive Great Mosque, one of the largest in West Africa, and learn about the Mouride Brotherhood’s unique role in Senegalese society. Continue to Saly, Senegal’s beach resort town, where you’ll stay in a private villa.

Fathala Wildlife Reserve

Our packages at Africa Travellers focus primarily on providing exceptional accommodation and tour experiences. While we do not directly include flight bookings in our packages, our experienced team members are more than happy to assist you in finding affordable flight tickets. Our Responsibilities:
1. Payment Handling: We manage all payments and processing.
2. Invoicing: We provide invoices to all guests for their tour payment.
3. Updates and Balances: We will keep guests informed about payment statuses.
4. Tour Provisions: We ensure all listed items, activities, and meals for the tour are provided.
Guests’ Responsibilities:
1. Documentation: Guests must provide their own visa, passport, and required vaccinations.
2. Additional Expenses: Guests are responsible for additional items or activities not listed in the tour
package.
3. Payment Compliance: Guests must adhere to the agreed payment plan.
4. Property Damage: Guests are liable for any damages to property and must restore it to its original
state.
5. Waiver of Liability: Guests waive the right to sue Amandani Tours Africa or its affiliates for any
injuries or damages.
6. Payment Method: Payments must be made via PAYPAL Invoices. Cash is not accepted.
7. Media Use Consent: Guests grant permission to use their likeness in promotional material.
8. Contract Agreement: Guests who do not agree to these terms cannot participate in the tours.
9. Deposit Requirement: A deposit is required to secure a spot on the tour.
10. Modification Rights: Amandani Tours Africa reserves the right to modify the tour as needed.
11. Non-participation: No refunds or compensations for missed activities or non-participation.
Children Policy:
1. Supervision Requirement: Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
2. Guardian Responsibility: Adults are responsible for children at all times during the tour.
3. Adult Presence: Children must always be accompanied by an adult.
Cancellation Policy:
All payments are refundable, excluding deposits, under the following conditions:
Cancellation Options: Guests who cancel one month prior to the scheduled tour dates are eligible
for a 50% refund of payments made after the initial deposit or may opt to credit the full amount
towards a future trip.
Failure to Comply: If a guest fails to provide the required travel documents instructed , resulting in travel denial, all payments made will not be refunded unless credited to future scheduled trips.
Missed Payments: Guests who miss two consecutive payments without notifying Amandani Tours
Africa will have their reservation paused.
Withdrawal: Guests who withdraw from the tour after making a deposit will forfeit the deposit.
However, all other payments will be refunded if the withdrawal is not within a month of the tour’s
scheduled dates. Alternatively, guests may choose to credit all payments, including the deposit, to
another scheduled trip.
Additional Terms and Conditions for Cancellations:
These policies are designed to accommodate unforeseen circumstances while maintaining fair
practices for both the guests and the tour operator. Guests are encouraged to communicate
promptly with Amandani Tours Africa regarding any changes to their planned participation in the tour to facilitate the best possible outcome
Yes, the answer is indeed yes. You will be required to make a $350 deposit at the time of your reservation. This initial deposit ensures your booking and allows us to start planning your tour with all the necessary arrangements. Rest assured, this process is designed to be straightforward and convenient, setting the stage for an incredible travel experience with Africa Travellers.
Passports & Visa Requirements
- In order to travel outside the united states or visit Africa, U.S. Canadian and UK citizens need a valid passport with an expiration date extending at least six months beyond the date of reentry.
- We recommend having at least one blank passport page for entry visa stamps.
- If you are not a U.S. or Canadian citizen, you must contact us for specific entry requirements.
- When you reserve or book a tour with us ,our team will make sure you get the best assistance with all this details .We are here for you !
Tour Pace
- You will walk for at least 30minutes- an hour daily across mostly flat terrain, including cobblestone streets, with few hills or stairs.
- Travelers should be healthy enough to participate in all included walks without assistance.
- You should feel comfortable managing your own baggage at times, but our team members are always available to assist with your luggage through the tour.
- Africa Travellers and the Tour Director or guide who accompanies your group are unable to provide special, individual mobility assistance to travelers on tour. The responsibility of the Tour Director and Guide is to ensure the group as a whole enjoys a relaxing and informative journey, and he or she cannot be relied upon to provide ongoing, individualized assistance to any one traveler.

Transportation & Arrival Information
- Round-trip flights will be privately booked by yourself since we currently do not offer group flights in our packages . Despite not offering group flight bookings, our team members are always available to help with your flight bookings when needed.
- Upon arrival, a representative from Africa Travellers will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. Our representative will be holding a sign for easy identification.
- Transfers to and from the airport to all destinations are included in any trip you book with us .
Clothing & Packing Tips
- We recommend packing lightweight, loose-fitting clothing that can be easily layered to accommodate varying temperatures.
- A sturdy pair of walking shoes or sneakers is recommended for sightseeing and tours .
- One luggage bag and a carry on is recommended .If you bring two or more luggages above 50kg it will attract a loading and unloading fee of $80.00
Health & Vaccinations
- There are no major health risks associated with traveling any of our Africa destinations.
- At least 60 days prior to departure, check with your doctor or healthcare provider for the latest updates and entry requirements, or visit the Center for Disease Control and Prevention website at cdc.gov.
- Please note: Yellow fever certificate is required for most Africa destinations. You can call our team for all the necessary health requirements you will need.
- If you have medication that you take daily, be sure you have enough for each day of the tour as well as any possible delays encountered.
- If you have dietary restrictions and/or food allergies please notify Africa Travellers at least 30 days prior to departure by simply giving us a call .
Travel Insurance
If you are travelling overseas, or even domestically, taking out Travel insurance is highly recommended by the Africa Travellers Team. If you require medical attention while travelling, you may be liable for the cost of your treatment if you do not have travel insurance. Even though this isn’t a requirement before traveling we will recommend you purchase a travel insurance for your own safety and coverage.
Electricity & Air-conditioning
- We recommend packing a universal adapter, as well as a voltage converter if you plan on using your own hairdryer or other device without a built-in converter.
- There are air-conditions in all the facilities or hotels we accommodate our travelers with.
- Your hotel may provide irons, and other small appliances. However, these amenities cannot be guaranteed.
Internet Connectivity
- Wi-Fi is available in all the hotels we accommodate our travelers with .
- There is no Wi-Fi on any of our buses.
- Please contact your mobile service provider for information on roaming charges if needed.
Currency & Money Exchange
- Better rates of exchange are usually available in that Africa country. You can easily exchange your money to a local currency at the airport upon arrival . Our Tour Guide at Africa Travellers will gladly assist you as needed.
- We strongly advise that you take debit/bank cards and credit cards, which can be used to withdraw cash at local banks as needed.( VISA & MASTERCARDS)
- You can use most debit/credit cards at ATMs on the international networks , but make sure to check with your home bank about international withdrawal fees and restrictions.
- Inform your bank and credit card company of your travel plans so that they won’t confuse your international purchases for fraudulent charges.
- International banks and businesses primarily accept debit and credit cards that work with the EMV chip system. If you do not already have at least one debit or credit card with a chip in it, we strongly recommend requesting one from your bank prior to your tour.
- Talk to our team if you have any further questions on this
